Poetry is the voice of the heart that gives words to your emotions that are real but hidden. In Urdu poetry, the emotions that compel us to feel and relate to them are pleasantly expressed. It is a universal language that everyone understands, because it touches the human heart. It is a form of art that strengthens the community, bringing to light the diversity that exists. A poet is one who writes poetry. They have existed in almost all languages since ancient times, and they have created duos that are very different in different cultures and times.
Khawaja Mir Dard
Dard was famous for his poetry on love and was considered the best in this field. The secret of the age of pain as a poet is not in his mysticism but in translating this mysticism into poetry and presenting the transcendental love with reference to human and earthly love. Dard inherited his mystical temperament from his father, Khawaja Muhammad Nasir Andalib, a mystic elder and poet. The pain writing style was natural, simple and full of music but thought provoking.

Mir Taqi Mir
He was known by his pen name Mir. His father was basically a religious man with a large following, who formed the philosophy of his life. He emphasized the importance of love and the value of empathy. He is known for his poetry on love and many of his poems are on this subject .Mu’amlat-e-Ishq (The Stages of Love) is one of the greatest known love poems in Urdu literature.

Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan
Mirza Asadullah Baig was born on December 27, 1797 in Agra. He used the pen name of Ghalib and Assad. He was a classical poet of Urdu and Persian during the British colonial period. Before Ghalib, poetry was only an expression of love, but Ghalib, give it a different direction. He wrote lyrics on a wide range of topics, including philosophy, suffering, the mysteries of life, and many more. Ghalib was a very liberal mystic who believed that the search for God saved the seeker from narrow-minded Orthodox Islam and encouraged the believers to deviate from the letter of the law and look at its narrow essence.

Allama Muhammad Iqbal
Allama Iqbal born on November 9, 1877 in Sialkot. He was a philosopher, a poet and a Politian. As a poet he work mainly in Persian but after 1930, he put emphases on Urdu poetry. The verses of that era directly addressed to Muslims with great emphases on Islam and political reawaking. He considered being the inspiration for Pakistan movement. He gathers Muslims on a single platform with his poetry, which helps them to demand for a separate homeland.

FAIZ AHMED FAIZ
Faiz is especially known for his amazing skills in expanding traditional possibilities to include his poems, such as ghazals, and political and social issues in traditional Urdu. AHMED FARAZ
Syed Ahmad Shah, better known by his pen name Ahmad Faraz, was a Pakistani Urdu poet. He was widely known as one of the best modern Urdu poets of the last century.
